Requirements
Sardilli Produce & Dairy Company Inc., is seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver for delivery of produce & dairy products, to customers in CT, NY and Western MA. STARTING WAGE EQUAL TO $23.50-$24.50 per hour. This position requires, excellent customer service skills, and must have knowledge of all DOT regulations. Basic Requirements: Must be 21-years of age. High School Diploma or General Education Degree. {GED} Valid Class A or B Commercial Drivers' License with a clean driving record and 1-year driving experience. Ability to read and write in English. Work Ready Attitude. Must have basic Math skills {subtract, add, multiply and divide} Pass a pre-employment Drug Screen, Background Check, and DOT Physical Lifting Test. Responsibilities/ Essential Duties Safe Driving in all weather and traffic conditions. Meet/Exceed minimum productivity level set by Company. Develop working knowledge of product control and inventory. Deliver product within assigned route schedule and time. Unloading product by hand or hand cart at dock or other Customer Delivery areas'. Obtain Customer Signature on all required documents. Collect cash, checks where required. Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle. Maintain sanitary conditions in vehicle. Fleet are new vehicles with air conditioning.' Our fleet leaves at 4:30 AM and returns between 12:00-2:00 PM. OUr delivery radius is within 150 Miles. No Long Hauls. Monthly Driver Bonuses Paid Every month Starting at $400 in addition to weekly wage.
